2nd letter for Puerto Rico Spring Break Mission in March

Dear Ministry Partners in Christ,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Over the past several weeks, Gyeongseon Park and I have been prayerfully preparing for the upcoming mission to Puerto Rico, while also continuing our efforts to raise the necessary mission funds.
This winter, we were unable to fully raise support for our Spring 2026 ministry, and with March approaching, there were moments when we wondered if it might be wiser to step back from this mission effort. However, as the students who committed to go with us are themselves walking through challenging circumstances—yet faithfully praying and fundraising—we have decided to entrust everything to the Lord and move forward in faith, believing that He who calls us is faithful.
At present, $2,700 of the total $4,000 mission cost has been raised. In order to join the mission team and participate in the Puerto Rico mission taking place from March 14–21, we must report the remaining $1,300 by February 22. With this in mind, we humbly invite you once again to join us on this journey—obedient to the Great Commission and hopeful for the fruit of the gospel that God will surely bring.
During this mission, we will be sharing the gospel with students at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. Please pray that this time would not only impact the campus, but also shape the participating students into disciples who dream God’s dreams for the nations—looking beyond their campus to the world God so loves.

Prayer Requests for the March Mission Team
Please pray for the New Jersey student team and the students joining from other states who will be participating in the mission. Lift up their fundraising needs, all preparations, schedules, and plans. We ask that the Lord would go before them—preparing the students and local people they will meet on the field—so that through these encounters, a new story of God’s work may begin in Puerto Rico.
Pray that the participating students would learn to understand and respect one another’s cultures, and that they would move forward together in unity toward our shared missional purpose in God. May this journey lead them into a deeper faith and a life that more fully trusts and follows the Lord.
Please pray for the mission team’s travel schedule and for the health of every team member. In the midst of any challenges or unexpected difficulties, may they continue to walk forward with confidence in God’s presence and the help of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for Gyeongseon Park and Heegi Kim, that from beginning to end they would rely solely on the Lord’s wisdom and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. May their words, actions, and prayers first and foremost bring glory to God.
Finally, please pray that the remaining $1,300 needed for this mission would be fully provided, so that both missionaries may be sent to the field. We also ask that the prayers of all who partner and journey with us would become seeds of God’s Word, planted in Puerto Rico and bearing lasting fruit for His kingdom.
