Hallelujah! Greetings to all our partners who continually pray with us for the fulfillment of the Great Commission to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. As we begin the 2025–26 school year, I would like to share some prayer requests with you.

Ministry Highlight

As I shared in the June Prayer letter, during June we prayed and prepared for new financial ministry partners to help sustain the upcoming school year’s ministry. Now, with just four more supporters, we will be able to secure the minimum financial resources needed to continue the work. I am deeply thankful to those who have already partnered with us in this summer, and I ask for your prayers that we can meet these four additional supporters soon.

At the end of August, the Summit for leaders marked the beginning of campus ministry not only on the campuses we serve but also across universities throughout the United States. In particular, we are preparing for outreach to new students and for the first gatherings of the semester. Please pray that all of these plans and preparations will go smoothly so that more students may begin walking with Jesus Christ in their daily lives

Upcoming Events
  • Late August – Mid-October: New student outreach and kickoff gatherings, Club Fair

  • September 26: J-Cru United Worship

  • October 17–19: New Jersey Cru Fall Retreat

Prayer Requests
  1. Please pray for the student leaders of NJIT, Ramapo, William Paterson, FDU Metro, and Bergen Community College for the 2025–26 school year. In particular, pray that a new revival of the Gospel would break out at Ramapo and Bergen Community College, and that many students would return to God.

  2. From September through mid-October, we are focusing on outreach to new students and preparing for the first gatherings. Less than 20% of Christian freshmen continue attending Sunday worship after entering college, and in New Jersey the percentage is even lower—around 10% or less. For this reason, we are working to meet and share the Gospel with as many students as possible during this outreach season, so that they can grow within a community of faith. Each campus is preparing different events and evangelistic activities for this purpose. Please pray that both the student leaders and staffs will not grow weary, but instead move forward with God’s wisdom and strength.

  3. We are preparing the New Jersey Fall Retreat from October 17–19. Please pray for the NJ Cru staffs who are organizing the speakers and programs. Last year, over 100 students attended, and we ask for your prayers that even more students will participate this year so that the vision of Jesus Christ can be established on their campuses.

  4. Starting this semester, Missionary Kyungsun Park will serve with the Cru Epic ministry at Rutgers University, bringing our total to six campuses. Please pray that true disciples of Christ will be raised up on each campus, becoming channels through which the gospel can reach 1,500 students. Pray also that the two of us, as missionaries, will be equipped with God’s Words and prayer, so that we can boldly share and disciple students on campus.

  5. Every year, as the new school year begins, groups of cults and pseudo-religious organizations that imitate Christianity become very active, attempting to deceive students. Our children are therefore exposed to significant spiritual danger. Please pray that God would protect our children, restore God’s image in them, and draw them back to the Lord.

  6. Please also pray that the lump on Missionary Kyungsun Park’s chest can be healed with God’s help. As for me, I needed to have a lump on my right chest examined last year, but due to financial difficulties, I have not been able to do so. Please pray that God would provide the financial means and the time for me to have this examination, possibly in March or mid-May next year.

  7. Finally, please pray that we can meet four new financial supporters who can give $100 each month, and that all the financial needs for the fall semester will be met.
