We invite you to partner with us financially in ministry.
Hallelujah! Greetings in the name of the Lord to the brothers and sisters who are praying together for God's kingdom.
A few days ago, one of our ministry partner who told us they were praying with us sent us a photo with these words written on it:

"May the peace of God seep into your June, may gratitude take the place of impatience, and may the love of the Lord fill your life abundantly."
As many of you already know, when we sent out our mission newsletter in March, we were so worried that we couldn't even sleep because we didn't have the money to pay our apartment rent starting in April. However, through fellow ministry partners, church communities, and even God's people we had never expected, we were able to pay the rent. Through this season, eight new ministry supporters have joined us in partnership.
However, Missionary Kyungsun Park and I are still in need of six more supporters who can give $100 per month. If this need is not met by mid-July, before the upcoming Cru National Staff Conference, it will be difficult for us to continue our ministry in the fall semester due to ongoing financial challenges.
As we entered June, this burden weighed heavily on our hearts. But just as we were struggling with worry, a text message from one of our ministry partners gave us courage and comfort. Because of that encouragement, I decided to erase the mission letter I had written last week and start over—this time with a heart full of gratitude and love, to share this letter with our fellow ministry partners.
Dear ministry partners, thank you so much for trusting, praying, and walking with us so that we can carry out the Lord’s work. Because of your partnership, we’ve been able to experience the joy of sharing the gospel with even more students.
Ministry Highlight
Despite various challenges caused by the newly changed system at NJIT, the “God & K-BBQ” event was made possible through the efforts and preparation of our student leaders, as well as the prayers and support of our ministry partners. As a result, over 300 students heard the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Above all, it was a deeply grace-filled time for us as we witnessed students shedding tears for the lost souls around them.
To celebrate Easter, students at William Paterson University walked around campus handing out Easter eggs filled with Bible verses and candy. Through this outreach, over 100 students heard the gospel of Jesus Christ.
At FDU Metro, students celebrated the joy of the resurrection over two weeks through a Movie Night, Game Night, and Praise Night.
At NJIT, students joined with other Christian clubs during “Jesus Walk” week, hosting various events to share and celebrate the joy of the resurrection together.
In May, each campus holds graduation ceremonies. Many of our student leaders are graduating, and while it's a time for new leaders to begin preparing for the next semester, saying goodbye is never easy. However, we send them off with joy because we know that these graduates will now share God’s love not just on campus, but in new places. And through them, God will continue to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to even more people. That’s why at Cru, we say that graduation is 100% Sent. Please pray that every graduating student will go on to live as a disciple who makes disciples for the rest of their lives.

Prayer Requests
Please pray for the 2025–2026 student leaders at NJIT, Ramapo, William Paterson, FDU Metro, and Bergen Community College. In particular, we ask for your prayers that our ministry will become firmly established at Ramapo and Bergen Community College.
In July, we are planning to attend a Cru staff conference in Milwaukee, which will require a nearly two-week trip. Please pray for safe travels as we drive there and back. We also ask for prayers that this conference will be a time for us to learn new outreach methods and tools, receive spiritual encouragement, and prepare well for the next 2–3 years of ministry.
Starting in August, we will be preparing for the fall semester, the New Jersey Cru staff retreat, and the Planning Summit for all student leaders across New Jersey. From the last week of August through mid-September, we will begin freshman outreach, promotion, and kickoff gatherings. Please pray for all the plans, schedules, and especially for the staff and students who are leading the ministry together.
We need to raise an additional $5,000 in ministry funds to cover the July staff conference expenses, freshman outreach for the 2025 fall semester, the Friendship Invitation Event in October, and the Thanksgiving Outreach in November. Please pray that more of God’s people and church communities will join us in partnership so that we can be well-prepared for the new semester’s ministry.
Please pray that the lump in Kyungsun Park’s chest will heal naturally in God’s grace. As for me, I was supposed to have a lump in my right chest examined last year, but due to financial difficulties, I was unable to get the test. Please pray that God will provide the financial means and circumstances for me to have the examination next spring.
Cult groups are actively evangelizing on campus and increasingly enticing students, and this is becoming a growing problem that may become significant starting in the new semester. Please pray that students will have a Biblical perspective and values. Also, pray that the Gospel reaches the school faculty and staff so that God’s kingdom can be firmly established on the university campuses.
Lastly, we ask for your prayers to meet six new financial supporters who can give $100 per month throughout the month of June. Please especially pray that our hearts will be filled with gratitude and praise instead of worry and impatience. If you know anyone you would like to invite to join us as ministry partners, please let us know, as that would be a great help to our ministry.
Once again, we thank you for praying for the family of missionaries Heegi Kim & Kyungsun Park. Photos and videos from the mission field that we could not share in this letter are available on www.winthecampus.com/en, as well as on Instagram and Facebook. Please be sure to follow us there.
