From March 14–21, we safely returned from our Puerto Rico spring break mission trip with students, all by God’s grace. We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported us through prayer and walked alongside us behind the scenes. Through this mission letter, we would like to share about our spring semester ministry and the Puerto Rico mission, giving all glory to God.
Puerto Rico Mission
As we began the Fall 2025 semester, Missionary Gyeongseon Kim (Park) and I started praying and preparing for a spring break mission trip with students in 2026. However, after returning from our winter conference, we realized that we were facing a significant financial shortfall for the upcoming spring semester ministry. In the midst of even basic living needs being uncertain, we wrestled deeply with the question, “Is it right to go on this mission at this time?”
Nevertheless, holding on to the conviction God had placed in our hearts, we sent out our first mission letter at the end of January, asking for prayer support. Yet the needed funds were not met, and we even received advice from others that it might be better to step back rather than push forward with the mission. Our hearts grew heavier, but with a sense of final hope, we sent out a second letter in early February, once again asking for support.

Even three days before the final deadline to confirm our participation with the mission team, the funds were still not sufficient. But God, who knows our weakness and our earnest desire to serve, provided for all our needs through His people. In the end, we were able to go to Puerto Rico with the students, and while sharing the gospel there, we witnessed the incredible grace of four students receiving Jesus Christ.
We praise God for accomplishing all of this, and we would love to share more about the Puerto Rico mission through the video linked below.
Ministry Highlight
Revival of the J-Cru United Worship
J-Cru United Worship is a precious monthly gathering held on the last Friday of each month, where Cru college students across New Jersey come together to worship God, pray, and receive training for spiritual growth. Before the pandemic, more than 200 students would gather, but in the years that followed, attendance dropped to around 70–80 students. During that time, our ministry team walked through many challenges with much prayer and seeking.
Even so, we did not give up. Through various efforts and faithful service, we continued to pray earnestly for a renewed spiritual awakening—longing to see students come together again with a heart for God.
And God has begun to answer those prayers. In February, 115 students gathered for the united worship, and in March, over 100 students came together once again. Not only have the numbers increased, but we are also witnessing a renewed hunger and passion for God rising among the students, which fills us with deep gratitude and hope.
Moreover, through the ongoing evangelism movement that began last year, we have had the joy of sharing the gospel with approximately 3,000 students from the Fall 2026 semester until now. We give all glory to God for this fruit, and we move forward in faith, trusting that this revival will continue.
A Life of Disciple-Making Disciples
At FDU Metro, three weekly gatherings are currently being led alongside four student leaders, with around ten students consistently participating. Considering the size of the campus, this is more than just a regular meeting—it is a clear sign of a meaningful spiritual awakening that God is bringing about.
Now, four years since the ministry first began, we are especially grateful to see students taking ownership of their faith and committing to live as “disciple-making disciples.” Beyond simply following, they are growing into leaders who invest in others and share the gospel. Watching them take these steps of faith, we are deeply reminded of God’s faithfulness and His guidance.
In particular, Allan attended a spring break mission trip to Daytona, where he gained a clearer vision for God’s Kingdom. Other student leaders are also moving forward in faith, each responding to God’s calling in their own lives.
What began as a small seed is now beginning to bear fruit on this campus. As we witness what God is doing, we look ahead with great anticipation for the even greater things He will accomplish.
A Heart for Evangelism
NJIT is the largest campus we serve, where 12 student leaders are faithfully leading five weekly gatherings and serving as channels of the gospel throughout the campus. In particular, every Wednesday, we set up a table to meet students personally and share the gospel, connecting with 30–40 students in a single day and sharing God’s love with them.
In March, we hosted a “Taco & God” outreach event, where over 200 students were invited and had the opportunity to hear the message of the gospel. It was more than just an event—it became a meaningful moment where many students began to wrestle with new questions and a growing curiosity about God.
At William Paterson University, although the ministry is smaller in size, we are consistently continuing evangelism every Tuesday together with student leader David. During midterm exams, we prepared and distributed “Energy Packs” to students, using this opportunity to serve their needs and pray for them.
Through these ongoing efforts in evangelism, over the past year and a half, Missionary Gyeongseon and I have been blessed with the opportunity to share the gospel with more than 1,500 students across the campuses we serve. Seeing the love of Jesus Christ being proclaimed through the next generation, we give all thanks and glory to God.
Prayer Requests
William Paterson University After the Fall 2026 semester, the student leaders who have been faithfully serving with us will be graduating. While we are deeply grateful for their commitment, we are also prayerfully asking God to raise up new laborers to carry on the work.
In particular, we ask for your prayers that among the incoming students we will encounter, we would meet those whom God has already prepared. We pray that through the gospel, their lives would be transformed and that they would grow into leaders who make disciples.
NJIT Beginning with the Extra united worship service for North Jersey campuses on April 9, we have several upcoming events: a hiking trip on April 11, “Jesus Awareness Week” from April 13–17, and an outreach soccer event on May 1.
We ask for your prayers that the students preparing for these events would be spiritually equipped through prayer, and that each gathering would be filled with God’s grace and joy. Please also pray that many students would hear the gospel and experience God during these times.
In addition, we would appreciate your prayers that all the necessary resources and finances for these events would be provided, and that we would be able to carry out everything with joy and faith.
FDU Metro
One of the challenges we face in campus ministry is that, during times of spiritual revival, the lives of student leaders are often shaken by attacks from the enemy, which can impact the ministry. Therefore, we ask for your prayers for the current leaders as well as those being prepared for the next semester.
As our gatherings continue to grow and revival spreads, bringing together a more diverse group of students, we feel the increasing need for God’s wisdom and the power of prayer rather than relying on human strength. Please pray that in every moment, all our leaders would depend fully on God and continually acknowledge that the true Lord of this ministry is Jesus Christ.
Rutgers Epic, Ramapo & Bergen Community College
Please pray for the Rutgers Epic ministry, which we began serving last fall. Pray that Missionary Gyeongseon Kim (Park) would have a positive influence on the students and faithfully shepherd them as a friend who encourages those quietly longing for the Lord, even in unseen places.
In particular, pray that students who were once part of a Chinese Christian group would now expand to the broader Asian Christian community, embracing a vision for God’s Kingdom and growing in their faith. Please also pray that students’ hearts would be open to the nations, and that outreach efforts at Ramapo and Bergen Community College would bear fruit, allowing regular gatherings to begin soon and continue steadily.
For Financial Partners We are fully self-supported missionaries, serving through the prayers and financial partnership of fellow laborers. However, as mentioned earlier, last winter we faced financial difficulties and personal circumstances that led some supporters to pause their contributions. By February, our ministry was at risk of temporarily halting.
Through God’s grace, we were able to get through that challenging season, but the reality is that sustaining our ministry going forward still requires support. Therefore, from now until this summer, we plan to meet with potential monthly supporters to share the vision of this ministry and invite them to partner with us.
If you know anyone who might share our heart for raising up the next generation, we would greatly appreciate your introduction. We also ask for your prayers that God would lead us to 10 partners willing to support this ministry with $100 per month. Your prayers and support mean so much as we continue to serve faithfully in God’s work.
Once again, we confess that all of this ministry is accomplished not by human strength, but by God working through His people, and we give all thanks and glory to Him. We experience God’s faithfulness daily through each partner who prays and walks alongside us in unseen ways. We look forward with hope to the work God will accomplish through your prayers and service, and we are deeply grateful for your continued partnership on this journey.
